Explore the depths of Lake Champlain from the shore, roll along the water on bike, or discover the power of community. Vermont can be a kids paradise – if you just know the places to look.

TAKE TO THE SNOW

Pack up your sled and snow gear and head to one of our favorite sledding hills in Vermont! Some of our favorites nearby? Check out Burlington Country Club, Calahan Park,

Just blocks away, Merrill’s Roxy Cinema is a Burlington staple, known for it’s old-school flair and range of independent & mainstream films.

TAKE A BUNDLED BIKE PATH STROLL

The views of Lake Champlain in the wintertime make the chilly breeze more than worth it. Try starting at Perkins Pier and heading south.

Just two blocks away and perched on the waterfront, the ECHO Leahy Center aims to help families dive a little deeper into the natural environment of Lake Champlain through exhibits, interactive learning, and the joy of scientific discovery. WHEN THE WARM WEATHER COMES

Grab a creemee

No, it’s not soft serve. There something different, something extra special, about a Vermont creemee. Opt for a classic maple twist down the street at Burlington Bay or pop over to visit Offbeat Creemee, the new kids on the block that are making a splash with their new, vegan, funky-flavored and extravagantly-topped, creemees.
