A WEEK IN BURLINGTON
For your next stay at Hotel Vermont, here is a guide to all of our favorite things to do during the week. What better way to explore all that Burlington has to offer?
MONDAY
It wouldn’t be a visit to Burlington without tasting some beer at Zero Gravity Beer Hall, which is located on Pine Street. Pair this with a delicious meal on the outdoor patio and you have created a perfect summer afternoon!
At night, enjoy some creemees at Little Gordo Creemee Stand, which is located on South Union Street. Nothing tastes like summer quite like these homemade and unique creemee flavors.
TUESDAY
Take a stroll down the Church Street Marketplace to shop and dine at the local retailers and restaurants. This pedestrian-only walkway is the heartbeat of the town that gives you endless opportunities to experience so much of what Vermont has to offer.
At night, enjoy some baseball at a Lake Monsters Game! Champ the Lake Monster, peanuts, and cracker jacks… what more could you ask for really?

WEDNESDAY
Take a ride along the 7.6 mile Burlington Greenway Bike Path that runs along Lake Champlain. Rent one of our complimentary bikes that are in our lobby, and go ride along the gorgeous views!
Later, take a drive to Red Rocks to watch one of Vermont’s breathtaking sunsets. There is nothing quite like the view of the sunset with the backdrop of the lake and mountains. Don’t forget to take pictures!
THURSDAY
Start the day right at August First, a locally owned bakery & cafe. The griddled maple biscuit with homemade raspberry jam is a must-have, along with a variety of other pastries that will make your mouth water.
End the night at The Archives. This is where you can indulge in some craft brews, cocktails, and wine. What’s even better is that you can get competitive in this arcade of vintage pinball and video games at the same time!
