OUR FAVORITE WAY TO ENJOY WINTER IN BURLINGTON
1. Night ski at Bolton Valley. Snag a few $25 night skiing passes and drive just 35 minutes to the mountain for an evening on the slopes. Not a night skier? We have $70 any day, any time Bolton Lift Passes available for guest purchase.
2. Spruce up your wardrobe (sustainably!). There’s no shortage of thrifting and vintage shops in the area. We could spend hours browsing in the The Vault or Project Object Vintage.
3. Cozy up and order from our Bedtime Menu. We’ll bring a fresh tray of milk and cookies or hot toddies right to your room.
4. Take a glassblowing class at AO Glass. You’ll find little touches from our friends at AO Glass throughout the hotel, but visit us with on our new AO Glassblowing Package and you’ll be able experience glassblowing firsthand. Head home with a vase, drinking glass, or bowl of your own design.
5. Stop into NU Chocolat for cocoa and truffles. If the turndown sample on your pillow wasn’t enough, just a few blocks away from the hotel, visit the NU Chocolat storefront. We love sampling seasonal truffle flavors and grabbing a warm beverage to go.
6. Snowshoe at Catamount Outdoor Family Center. Grab complimentary snowshoes from our front desk and take to the snow.
7. Unconventional breakfast sandwiches and comics at Café Hot. Try the Number 8 (yes, that’s a chicken fried egg) and the Brakefast Sandwich (yes, that egg is wrapped in griddled cheese). Add a side of their house hot sauce to whatever you order! While you chow down, flip through their library of comics.
8. Turkish coffee and donuts at The Grey Jay. Find yourself at the top of Church Street and cozy up for brunch (and never forget the sweets).
9. Cross Country Ski through our Cross Country Skiing Package!

10. Take a sewing lesson with Abby Huston Designs in her studio in Burlington’s South End Soda Plant.
11. Family fun at ECHO. While winter might not be the best time to dive into Lake Champlain, but you can explore the depths of the lake from the shore at the ECHO Center. Stay with us at our Kids & Family Package, and head two blocks down to the interactive exhibits with tickets in hand.
12. Attend Ice Bar 2025. Ice Bar returns for two nights of frosty festivities on March 14 and 15, 2025, from 5:30-9:30 p.m with a superstitious twist. It’s our 13th annual Ice Bar and – lucky you – you’re invited.
Chill with ice sculptures, grab festive sips and snacks, or hit up the photo booth and ice games. Make a weekend out of it with our Ice Bar Overnight Package or grab tickets when they drop on Friday, December 13.
13. Drinks and arcade games at The Archives. With a drink list that will satisfy everyone, Archives is a go-to spot for a good beverage and a bit of friendly competition.
14. Beer hall cheers at Zero Gravity. Cozy up by the fire or challenge a friend in shuffle board while you sip on a Conehead and share a bowl of Dirty Fries.
15. Stroll through the Soda Plant. Grab a warm beverage from Brio Coffeeworks or Haymaker Buns and peek into the shops, galleries, and studios that makeup this small business basecamp. Don’t miss both floors!
