An Ode to Our Friends in the Northeast Kingdom
The hills are still alive! This event was rescheduled from September 16 to November 11, 2023. See details below for changes to programming.
No area quite defines Vermont like The Northeast Kingdom.
In the next installment in our 10th Anniversary Friends of Hotel Vermont Event Series, we celebrate some of our favorite food and beverage partners with deep roots in the NEK: Jasper Hill Farm, Hill Farmstead Brewery, Barr Hill, and Thornhill Farm. Products sourced from Snug Valley Farm, Pete’s Greens, Trencher’s Farmhouse, each bringing the best of the NEK to the Champlain Valley, also help make this dinner possible.
Tickets include welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres, 4-course dinner, 2013 Hill Farmstead Biere de Norma tasting, and celebratory whiskey toast from our friends at Caledonia Spirits, distillers of Barr Hill.
__
Reception will begin at at 5:30pm with music, hors d’oeuvres, Hill Farmstead tasting and mingling on the Juniper Terrace. Dinner will be served inside in Juniper Hall beginning at 6:15pm. A cash bar for additional beverages will be available throughout the evening.

2013 Hill Farmstead Biere de Norma tasting (aged 10 years, just like us)
From Hill Farmstead: Norma (1939 – 2011) was my maternal grandmother, my guardian angel, and the woman that nourished the laughter and innocence of my youth. In her honor, we craft this Bière de Mars and condition it in oak barrels with our resident microflora, allowing it to develop indefinitely until it is ready for release. We realize the influence of those closest to us only after having left their presence. At Hill Farmstead, our spirit is forever defined by Norma and the memory of our loved ones.
