Matt the Gnat and the Gators are considered, “moody, narrative-noir”. Each song is a descriptive tale with a twist, set to dark, smokey music.
A duo consisting of a Fender Jazzmaster guitar and a saxophone provide a murky, melodic atmosphere intended to make the listener want to sit back and absorb the story.
