Dan Johnson is a guitar-picking storyteller from Albany NY who hosted the long-running Americana Tuesdays music series at Valentine’s Music Hall and Beer Joint. He’s opened for Michael Daves, Della Mae, Woody Pines, JP Harris and the Tough Choices, and loads of other great bands. He’s released six albums of original americana music in the past six years. He’s been compared to John Prine, Leo Kottke, Daniel Johnston, and Leonard Cohen.
