Health & Safety at Hotel Vermont

Friends of Hotel Vermont,

We have been so humbled and moved by the support and well wishes we have received during this challenging and unprecedented time. Our team at Hotel Vermont is thinking of you, and we hope that wherever you are, you are safe,
healthy, and surrounded by the people you love. As you prepare for travel we kindly ask you to review all travel guidance through The Vermont Agency of Commerce* Prior to your arrival, the state asks travelers to complete a Certificate of Complianc. This can be handed to our front desk upon arrival.

Please note Vermont requires all to wear a mask any time it is not possible to maintain a physical distance of at least six feet with others from outside their household, or in otherwise busy areas, this may include certain outdoor areas as well such as Church Street Marketplace. All hotel guests and visitors to the building are required to wear a mask while moving around in public spaces. Thank you for supporting the health and safety of our associates, our community and other travelers.

We know travel during this time brings up many questions. Please find our most asked questions below, including those related to making changes to reservations when needed.

We are taking this time to practice gratitude. To check in on our guests and valued team members, and to connect (from afar) with our resilient and strong Burlington and Vermont community.

Preventative Health Measures and FAQ:

The team at Hotel Vermont has taken great care in ensuring the safety and well being of our guests; in fact, it is our number one priority. We follow strict guidelines from the Vermont Department of Health, the CDC, VOSHA and guidelines provided by the American Hotel and Lodging Association’s “Safe Stay” program which exceed those of all three referenced agencies and are underwritten by industry leaders in the hotel industry.

We thank and very much appreciate our guests for supporting us in following these guidelines for the health and safety of yourself, our team, and our community.

We are acutely aware that these guidelines do not always agree with our standards of caring and personal hospitality but we can assure you that behind all of this lives the spirit of people who are fully dedicated to, and motivated by,
your wellbeing and a relaxing experience. So, don’t be afraid to ask!
