NO STREET LIKE CHERRY STREET

SHORT BUT VERY SWEET: GUIDE TO CHERRY STREET

After a drink on the Juniper terrace, pop next door and visit our neighbors at Bleu Northeast Kitchen nestled in the Courtyard Burlington Harbor. Browse their wine list and grab a snack while you soak up the views of Lake Champlain through the windows.

Also on the Hotel Vermont campus is renowned restaurant Hen of the Wood. The the food is thoughtfully sourced, always striving to showcase the region’s most vibrant foods.

Head up the street past the bus station. If you’d like to break for a creative intermission, find yourself tapping into your artistic potential at Burlington Paint & Sip.

WHERE CHERRY MEETS CHURCH

As you come to the intersection of Cherry and Church, we encourage you to browse each corner. Outdoor Gear Exchange is a community staple for outdoor apparel and gear, no matter the season. Take your pick – skiing, camping, hiking, mountain biking, and beyond – they’ll set you up with whatever you need to maximize your adventure.

If you peer diagonally across the crossing to find yourself craving something sweet, Ben & Jerry’s flagship location will be on your left at this intersection of Church and Cherry. Enjoy flavors from the minds two guys that have become synonymous with Vermont in the location around the corner from where it all began.

Three consecutive stops will help you revive your wardrobe, beginning from the ground up. Dear Lucy Shoes is one of our favorite shoe stores in town, followed by two stellar vintage shops: The Vault Collective, a hub of curated collections from local vintage clothiers, and Old Gold, where you’ll find a range of vintage, new, and costume attire.

Lucky You is a go to spot for lifestyle wellness products. You’ll find a range of products from espresso, chocolate, cannabis, local herbal remedies, and art. Rather just stopping by to browse, the Lucky You team invites you to explore, chat, and stay a while.

SOMETHING TO SIP ON

Wilder Wines, a small woman-owned natural wine shop, is tucked cozily on the left but is surely not to be missed. Why we love stopping in: owner Sipha is passionate about sustainable wine made from small producers, and creating an inclusive & un-intimidating space.

At the end of the street, you’ll find a few options for a bite or a beverage. Vivid Coffee Roasters is a favorite stop of ours – if not for the great coffee and cozy atmosphere, for the close relationships they foster with farmers and community they strive to build around their coffee. Grab a cup while you’re there or grab a bag of beans to go. Later in the day, stop at Sushi Maeda for sushi or our friends at Frankie’s, a new spot brought to us from a long time industry duo that we already can’t get enough of.
