Stella 14 and Steakhouse Cuisine
On Thursday, August 21, we’ll be joined by Vermont’s own Stella 14 Wines to celebrate the launch of their latest vintages: Wild Child and Birches. And just for the evening, Juniper will transform into “Stella’s Steakhouse”, slinging classic cuts and sides to pair.
WINE
Wild Child is a dark bubbly rosé made with a co-fermented combination of Frontenac Noir and Marquette. It is bright, light, low-alcohol, and just a little tart with lots of red fruit, cranberry, raspberry, and perfect as an aperitif, with cheese, or with any summer salad.
Birches is a dark red bubbly wine in the petillant naturel style— a co-fermented blend of Frontenac Noir and Marquette, it is fermented on the skins, then pressed and bottled before it finishes fermentation. Smoky, a little herbaceous, with black and red fruit, it works beautifully with everything off the grill or as an ideal pizza wine— also magical with shiny meats (salumi).
